A leading local moving company based in Los Angeles on Wilshire Blvd is currently seeking clean cut new employees with a patient/pleasant personality who are dependable, organized, self-motivated and who can multi-task and have a flexible schedule.
Business Location: Vehicles are in West Hollywood lot, office in mid Wilshire.
Ideal Candidate: Someone who is seeking part-time or full-time employment. If you have tough skin, but excellent customer service skills, we would be VERY interested in talking with you! Qualified candidates must have good verbal and written communication skills, must be honest, upbeat, friendly, reliable, and must have excellent attendance record.
Here's what the job entails:
- Working as a Foreman on jobs daily [must be able to drive 24' bobtail truck.
- Fully aware of the happenings of other jobs' happenings on given days by way of regular contact with other Foremen, which you will be supervising directly.
- Scheduling of crews and overall management of daily operations in the field.
- Conducting onsite estimates with perspective clients.
- Spending a small amount of time in the office as needed to coordinate and facilitate the above.
We are looking for someone that will be very hands-on in the field and understanding that being a Foreman is the primary responsibility of their position. The compensation for this portion of the job will be $15/hr plus bonuses and gratuities.
In the same person, we are seeking an able-minded supervisor/manager and problem solver. There will a need to spend a few hours in the office from time to time for scheduling and overall communication with the office staff. Compensation for this portion of the job will be $100/wk.
